The terms on which Folio is offered.
Folio is a personal, non-commercial command-line tool, provided free of charge. It is not a hosted service. Using it means running a program on your own computer under your own credentials; there is nothing to sign up for and no account to hold.
By using Folio you agree that:
Folio is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. It may contain defects, may misread or shorten a document, and may stop working when an upstream API changes. Do not rely on it where a mistake would be costly without checking the result at the source.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the author shall not be liable for any claim, damages or other liability arising from or in connection with the software or its use, whether in an action of contract, tort or otherwise.
Folio talks to Google APIs on your behalf. Your use of Google's services remains governed by Google's own terms. Access may be withdrawn at any time by you, by Google, or by an administrator of your organisation, and Folio will simply stop working if that happens.
These terms may be updated. The date below reflects the current version, and continuing to use Folio after a change means you accept it.
